Environment
Doon Valley International School provides an optimistic learning surroundings helping our pupils leads to higher understanding and implementation of learning. D.V.I.S. has a fully surveilled campus that helps keeping every corner of the school safe for both the students and the staff members. The school maintains several in house committees to prevent any kind of wrong whether physical or mental against students and staff members.
Academics
The teaching staff from pre-primary to senior secondary is committed to academic excellence. Its reflection can be seen in the outstanding results, with a significant number of students scoring more than 85% marks in both X and XII. Mr. Prince Rajput of class XII secured 94.60% marks in the academic year 2024-2025.

At D.V.I.S. teachers attended various online and offline teacher training programmes. The teachers got up-skilled. The training bridged the gap between traditional teaching methodologies and modern teaching skills.

Orientation Programme
To facilitate the transition for the students and the parents in to a new academic domain, promote familiarity, comfort and community, the school conducted an orientation programme on 7th April, 2024. The new students were welcomed warmly.
Harela Celebration
Harela is celebrated to mark the start of sowing season and honour nature, symbolising new growth and fertility.
We at D.V.I.S. celebrated it by planting plants and saplings in the premises of the school and in the nearby area. It instilled the value of environmental conservation and a sense of responsibility in the coming generation.
Investiture Ceremony
To sensitize our students about democratic election, a student council election was held. The Procedure allowed the students to witness and exercise fundamental rights. After the announcement of the result, The Principal Mr. Sooraj Gupta administered the oath and presented badges to the newly elected student council members.
Cleanliness Drive

On various occasions the school conducted cleanliness drives in school as well as in the nearby areas to foster a healthy, positive learning environment, instilling good habits and promoting civic responsibility, improved students’ well-being and community engagement.
Field Trips
Picnics and field trips are crucial for school students as the students get exposure to reducing stress and improve mental health, such trips also promote physical activity, social bonding and hands-on learning experience. Our students visited Anand Van and Lachhiwala Nature Park, where they had a pleasant experience.
National Festivals
To instill feeling of patriotism, solidarity and fraternity, the school celebrated Independence Day and Republic Day with enthusiasm and zeal. These days developed an understanding of India’s struggle for freedom and the sacrifices our freedom fighters made.
Teachers Day Celebration
Teachers Day Was celebrated with great pomp and show. The students of class XII organized various entertaining games and activities followed by a delicious lunch buffet. The Principal inspired everyone with his insightful words.
School Fete
School fate is one of the most anticipated events of the academic year; it gives a much- needed break from academics, offering students enjoy different activities, food and a lucky draw, where anyone can win bumper prizes. Our school management and teachers put in significant efforts in organizing the school fete, setting up numerous games, activities, food stalls and so on.
Sports
“The will to win is important, but the will to prepare is vital.”
Sports play a vital role for overall development offering immense benefits for physical, mental well-being and social growth. The students showcased perfect example pf teamwork, resilience and extent. Events like track and field competition, relay-race, long and high jump, shot-put, badminton, volleyball, basketball, and javelin throw were organized.
Annual Day
DVIS organized its Annual Day to make the anniversary of the school. The celebration was crucial for the students’ holistic development, offering a platform to display their instrumental dramatic, singing and dancing talent. The students built up their confidence teamwork, and social skills by participating. The organization of the event was a huge success.
Hindi Diwas

To mark the day and sensitize our students about value of our mother tongue a special assembly was conducted on 14 Sep’2024. Many meritorious students preformed songs, speeches, Hindi rhymes, and verses. The whole school witnessed the enchanting performances.
Various other activities were conducted by our tiny-tots.
DVIS has upgraded its infrastructure facilities. All the classes have been converted into digitally smart classes.
